Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

Outdoor space

There is no separate space for the youngest children, so they do not get as many opportunities to develop their physical and social skills as older children. However, older children approach them in a friendly manner and engage with them happily, such as playing peekaboo, which promotes the younger children's personal and social development.

✨✨✨A heartfelt thank you to the entire Cheeky Chops Childminding team 🙏🏼 Choosing the right childminding setting for my daughter was one of the most important decisions I’ve ever made, and discovering Cheeky Chops Childminding has truly brought me peace of mind and heart. From the very first day, I was deeply impressed by how attentive, understanding, thoughtful, and genuinely caring every member of the team is. Their approach to early childhood development is both holistic and grounded — they nurture each child’s individuality while creating an environment filled with positivity, warmth, and encouragement. The range of activities offered is beautifully balanced, engaging the children in fun and creative ways without ever becoming overwhelming. Since joining Cheeky Chops, I’ve seen a remarkable transformation in my daughter’s development — her speech, confidence, and practical skills have flourished beyond expectations. The excitement and joy she shows every time I mention “Cheeky Chops” speak volumes about the nurturing and inspiring atmosphere you have created. I travel 30 minutes each way every day, but it is absolutely worth it. My daughter’s wellbeing, education, and safety mean the world to me, and I couldn’t imagine her in better hands. What stands out most is how the team views their role — not simply as childminders, but as educators shaping the next generation with compassion and purpose. A special thank you to Lindsey, Rachel, Judy, Yvet, Lorraine, Chelsea, and everyone else who has left such a positive and lasting imprint on my daughter’s growth. Your dedication, patience, and hard work do not go unnoticed. You are helping raise incredible young minds, and because of your efforts, the future already looks brighter. With heartfelt gratitude, A proud and thankful parent 💖

My son attended the home setting for almost one year and really loved his time there. Although his drop off was tearful he always had a lovely day playing with his friends and brought me home some of his first ever artworks. All the girls that looked after my son were brilliant and updated me regularly on how his day was going. We have moved areas and that is the only reason for leaving. Thank you all for the best year, we will really miss cheeky chops

My daughter absolutely loves going to her nursery at Hadron Hall, the newer of Lindsey and her team’s 2 settings! She has been attending twice and week and has developed so much in a short space of time into a clever cheeky toddler! Lindsey is always great and so fast at communication, we always have updates on our daughter and helped me greatly by adding a third day at the setting when we needed help at a really short notice. The staff are so loving towards our little girl and she is always itching to get in the door! Would recommend completely!

My daughter has been with Cheeky Chops since July 2023 and I am delighted with Lindsay and her team. Their warmth and genuine affection for my daughter helped her settle in a few short days and has made my return to work so much easier than I anticipated! Their level of communication is faultless with constant updates throughout the day. They quickly answer any questions I may have and send through photos so I can see what my daughter has been getting up to! They make sure all the children are well fed with healthy balanced meals and will let you know how much they ate. They also record their naps and nappy changes on their app. My daughter has developed so much since attending Cheeky Chops with her social skills and speech and I know that is down to the stimulating, fun and educational activities they do with the children each day. I am so glad that we found Cheeky Chops and I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a friendly, safe and home from home setting. Thank you so much to Lindsay and her team, they are beyond amazing!

I contacted Lindsey as I had to go back to work after having my little girl. Lindsey was so accommodating, quick to answer any questions, no matter how ridiculous my questions were! We went to have a look around the setting and I knew I wanted my daughter to go to Cheeky Chops even before I’d seen the setting, from just talking to Lindsey and meeting the team. You can tell how much they love their jobs and how much they love the children. Stevie started when she was 9 months old doing one day a week and now at 16 months goes two days a week. The team know so much about her and take the time to update me during the day. I actually can’t believe how much she has come along and all the things she learns. She goes in with a massive smile on her face and comes home with a massive smile on her face. Thank you all so much for taking great care of my little girl, I know she is in safe hands when I’m at work. She will continue to attend Cheeky Chops until she goes to school! Xxx
