Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Children that may need additional help to make good progress, such as prompt referrals to speech and language therapy, are made with parental consent. Therefore, links to support services across the local authority and health are established and children are supported to develop their speech and communication.

Outdoor space

When outside, children point out that the shaving foam they are using is moving around. Staff tell them that this is because the wind is blowing and do not encourage further discussion. This means that some children do not have as many opportunities as others to practise their thinking skills.

We have both our daughters at Cheeky Chums Nursery in Pinner. The staff are wonderful - extremely caring and nurturing. They are led by the amazing nursery manager Cynthia Duncan whose door is always open and who knows all the children so well. Our daughters love attending and always come home with smiles on their faces, sharing some beautiful art and craft works that they have done. I would highly recommend Cheeky Chums to other parents looking to place their children in a safe and happy environment.

Extremely satisfied with my experience at Cheeky Chums Pinner. My daughter has only attended the nursery for one year and I have seen tremendous development in her overall personality. She has liked going to nursery from the first day, all thanks to the caring and welcoming staff. She has grown confident and independent. Like the fact that I am able to see her performance through the log on my phone. Feedback sessions are good. Highly recommend the nursery.

My son is currently at preschool and he is loving every moment in there. All the staff is amazing and caring starting from Cynthia, Lorena which are very caring and supportive. A shout out to Bindya and of course his keyworker Antonina which he loves and doesn't stop talking about them. He has had such a growth this year and he has become very confident. Very happy that we made the choice for cheeky chums and do really recommend it. Well done Team.

Both of my kids are currently at Cheeky Chums and I couldn't recommend it more. It honestly feels like handing my kids over to my friends. I feel like the staff genuinely care about my kids and completely trust them. They have both learnt so much from nursery and we are very impressed with the progress they've made.

As new parents we had the usual worries of having our child leave the home environs to start spending time at a nursery and pre-school. From questions about how settling in would happen, eating, drinking water, to physical safety and provision of attentive care and learning. We are pleased to share with parents looking to use a nursery and pre-school in the Pinner / Eastcote area that our experience and our kiddos experience has been wonderful. Our child joined the class for smaller children (Fawns) and then moved on to the class for bigger children (Cubs). All over the nursery, the staff have shown great responsibility in providing individualized care, guidance and have been attentive to our requests (almost daily) for looking after the well being of our little one when under their supervision. The staff from the head teacher to the teaching staff, assistants and support staff have shown great gentleness in handling all matter of things that can occur with a little 3 year old. They have observed our child's development needs and have been in constant conversation about these as out child has moved along. Observations of personality, abilities to follow instructions, manage independently have all been addressed. Last but not the least they have made learning fun covering all areas of the Early Years curriculum. As a result our child has blossomed at Cheeky Chums emerging from it more mature, independent and confident. I'd hand down recommend this nursery and pre-school to any new parents looking to use one local to Pinner / Eastcote. Well done team Cheeky Chums and a huge heartfelt Thank you from us parents! This time in our child's journey will forever be cherished for all times to come!
