Inclusion & environment
The support in place for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities and children who speak English as an additional language is excellent. The manager ensures barriers to learning are removed and all children receive the support they need to succeed. Intervention plans are monitored with rigour and all children make good progress.
The report does not provide specific details about the outdoor space or how children use it for physical play.
Our daughter’s been here since February and really enjoys going in every day! The staff are friendly, caring and very hard working. Food is varied and nutritious. They’ve invested lots in the outdoor play area, which was already one of the best in Chester. Definitely recommend!
Read on GoogleI highly recommend it! My daughter started in April 2022 and quickly adapted. To this day she still wakes up excited about the day ahead of her. The nursery is beautiful and the programs are amazing: my daughter loves Forest School, outside visits, Yoga and of course all the reading, singing and etc. The staff is incredible: they are so dedicated, so attentive and you can tell they love what they do. My daughter is obsessed with her carers, at first it was Amy and now she changed rooms so she is crazy about Amanda. She made many friends and loves all the big play areas. The outside area is fantastic but she also loves the common room. I love how clean and organized they are. I love how they stimulate free play while still engaging in learning. The communication with the team is superb and I never had any issues or complaints. They always listen and are willing to help. The Manager, Justyna, is very helpful, polite and caring, always working hard to assist staff, parents and kids.
Read on GoogleWe looked at several nurseries and could tell straight away the vibe at Elmscott was different. Its hard to describe; but it just felt happier and brighter than others. I could say loads about the really positive things they do, one thing that stands out is how highly joined up it is. You can really tell the staff are working together as a team and this seems to have a multiplier effect of positivity and good outcomes across the nursery. We knew we picked a good place when our daughter went from being terrified of leaving us to running in the nursery door each morning with a big smile on her face! :-)
Read on GoogleThis nursery is truly amazing my little boy loves attending 4 days a week and has made amazing bods with all staff in the building. All the staff within the building have got time to speak to you and truly care for all the children. There's no orher place I would take my child and all the learning that is going on is showing an input into his learning and behaviour. I am going to be truly gutted when he leaves in September as the nursery has been a big part of his life. The partnership with parents is amazing we have just has a meet the team meeting g where we got to look at our child's room and also get a look into what they are learning and also what they are aiming for with the children , alot of great ideas and support was given for different things we can do with our children and want to go that extra mile to get to support them for their next adventure. Management are amazing and are very quick at responding to any queries you have and will help you with what ever they can. I would highly recommend this nursery to others who are looking around.
Read on GoogleA lovely friendly and inclusive nursery. It’s like working with a family who all have a passion for early years and providing the children in our care with the best experiences in a fun and enthusiastic way. City centre location provides a range of experiences, cultures and to develop our understanding and use of different languages. As staff we feel valued by the group as a whole who do their upmost to show their appreciation. The manager and team at Chester welcome you with open arms and a huge heart!! Cannot recommend enough! If I could give more than 5* I would!!!
