Chestnut Tree Day Nursery deserves all the praise for the exceptional care it offers. My daughter is always genuinely happy and excited to go to nursery, which is a direct reflection of the staff's incredible involvement, dedication, and genuine care for the children. I have rarely seen a manager so consistently present and hands-on as Charlie. The level of engagement, actively contributing and engaging directly with the children, not just handling management tasks is truly commendable. With management being this strong, it's no wonder the entire team is aligned to the same high standards, consistently driving results that are clearly above target. Every single member of the team should be celebrated and absolutely deserves a raise for their unwavering commitment to children's safeguarding, wellbeing, health, growth, and education. It is truly reassuring to know she is in such safe and nurturing hands every day.

⸻ My son started at this nursery when he was 10 months old and I was incredibly hesitant about beginning this journey. However, the staff were so reassuring during his settling-in period, which made a big difference. Once my son became familiar with the staff and the environment, he quickly grew happy and comfortable here. The communication throughout the day — including regular photos and updates — is fantastic. For me, this has been incredibly important and is one of the main reasons I truly appreciate this nursery. In fact, I removed my son from the waitlist of my original first-choice nursery after seeing how settled and happy he was here. That decision speaks volumes about the quality of care and environment provided.

My daughter attends Chestnut Tree Day Nursery and I couldn't be happier with our choice. The staff are all friendly, approachable and you can see that the children really do love them too. I am kept informed during the day with photos, when she is sleeping and get a daily note each day outlining the activities that she has been doing. My little one actually squeals when she sees where we are going in the morning, and you can't ask for more reassurance than that!

My son started Chestnut Nursery at two and I can honestly say it was the best choice for us. Chestnut tree nursery goes far and above to ensure a wholistic approach to childcare. They’re also very hands on in their preschool programs such that my son learnt phonics, the planets, addition and subtraction etc that has helped him stay ahead in reception. They’re also very considerate when I’ve had to apply for change of hours. Now that my son has gone to reception, I can’t tell you how much I miss their pickup handovers! Thank you the Chestnut team! One thing I’d change is their staff retention as my son hated seeing Amber, Harriet and a few others leave but as these things are sometimes unavoidable, Yes I’d highly recommend this nursery.
