All meals and snacks are prepared on the premises by catering staff. They ensure all meals have the right balance of nutrients, minerals, vitamins, protein, fibre and carbohydrate, calcium and all other compounds to make children’s bodies grow and flourish as set out by the “Eatwell” plate (www.food.gov.uk). Fresh fruit is incorporated daily, and only water or milk is offered at mealtimes. All bread served is either wholemeal or granary.
