Since my son started at children 1st Chesterfield nursery he is thriving. His development has come along leaps & bounds at 21 months old. The nursery/school setting is absaloutly fantastic. As soon as I went to view the nursery for my son you feel a sense of warmth, safety and you feel relaxed and put at ease. All the staff that work there are amazing they go above and beyond every day. You are kept upto date through your childs app on their learning and development also with toileting and meals. Staff also give you feedback when you collect your child. Read on GoogleMy daughter started at this nursery in January 2026, after some successful breaking in days. It is evident that the staff really truly care about the children who they are looking after. Our daughter adapted very quickly and the care and attention which is shown to her is magnificent. All the staff are very welcoming and friendly, always with a smile on their face and happy to see you. More importantly, they love seeing the kids. They build strong rapport with the children. Know what they like and dislike. I'm extremely be happy and confident, leaving my daughter in the capable care of the staff at children first. It is hard to put into words how much the staff really care about everyone. The biggest compliment and better than any review than can be written is seeing the smile on your child's face when you drop them off for another day at nursery. Furthermore, the staff are committed to developing developing your child and getting the best out of them. Thank you all so much :)

The team is lovely, they know all the children by name, they always greet us with a smile, they have a doors open policy so you can always get there to pickup your child at any time. The garden is huge and beautiful and all the teachers do their best to keep our little ones active. Thank you everyone for all your hard work.
