Our ethos
We believe that parents who get involved in their child’s early years education truly enhance it, so we work closely with you to develop a meaningful and communicative partnership. As children progress through our nursery, each child will have their very own key person and key team who will meet their individual needs and work with parents to ensure the child adapts well to new stages of nursery, whether that’s settling in when they first start or preparing them to leave for school. We are committed to a 'whole child' approach, recognising that every child has a unique story to tell, and foster 'wholesome roots' to cultivate positive habits, resilience, and wellness.

Inclusion & environment
All children, including those who speak English as an additional language, make good progress from their starting points in learning. The manager and staff focus the curriculum on supporting children's communication and language skills to help close gaps in their learning.
Children are keen to explore and investigate in the well-resourced outdoor environment. In the garden, pre-school children enjoy playing games with staff, such as throwing balls into buckets to develop hand-eye coordination and counting skills. The manager purchases toys such as binoculars for children to explore the world around them when they play in the garden.
