Opening hours
Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 5:30pm, 51 weeks a year (excluding bank holidays and three staff training days)
30am until 6pm, catering to children aged 0-11 years. Established in 2011, the nursery provides a welcoming environment where children happily engage in activities, demonstrate good behaviour, and are polite and confident.
The Ofsted inspection on 23/02/2023 rated the nursery as 'Good' in overall effectiveness, reflecting strong performance in the quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, and leadership and management. The curriculum encourages development across various areas, with staff using cylinders in water play to teach mathematical concepts like full and empty, and actively engaging in imaginative play with children, such as pretend hairdressers.
Physical development is supported indoors with low-level furniture for younger children to pull up on and soft-play items for climbing. Outdoors, children enjoy digging, climbing stairs, sliding, and balancing on beams in the garden.
Independence is fostered through support in self-care tasks like dressing, using the toilet, and pouring drinks. The management team provides effective feedback to staff, which positively impacts children's learning.
The nursery also includes a before and after-school club for older children.
