Children's Corner Day Nursery is a family-owned establishment in West Ealing, founded in 1983 and under current ownership since 2010. The proprietors, Mrs. Kila Patel, a qualified Nursery Nurse and Social Worker, and her husband, who serves as the nursery's chef, are deeply rooted in the local community.
The nursery is designed to be a safe and welcoming space, inspired by Hygge principles, promoting a calm and engaging atmosphere for children aged 12 months to 5 years. The environment is thoughtfully curated with limited visual distractions and natural resources to encourage exploration and development at each child's own pace.
With an Ofsted rating of 'GOOD' from February 2023, the nursery is recognized for its reflective practices, effective key-person system, and strong parent involvement. Children's Corner is also participating in the Ealing Highly Aspirational EYFS programme, collaborating with other leading settings to further enhance early years education.
The dedicated staff provides nurturing care and expert guidance, fostering curiosity and a love for learning, preparing children for future transitions.

Staff act with integrity to ensure that children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are given equal opportunities and thrive among their peers. There are plans in place for children who require additional interventions to ensure they receive adequate external agency support. This helps possible gaps in children's knowledge to narrow rapidly.

The inspector observed the quality of education being provided, indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact this was having on children's learning.

If I could give it 10 stars, I would do it! My daughter really enjoyed coming every day to Children's Corner Day Nursery! The food is fresh and varied. The team are amazing, very competent and dynamic! The manager finds new activities every day, one, in particular, is kind and the children's development is her priority! If you want to see your baby happy every day and grow up quickly, it's here that you have to go! Thank you to the manager and all the team. We missed you a lot.

Enquired via email and the response could not have been more brief and unhelpful. It didn’t give us the impression that they cared about potential new families so it’s not somewhere we will be considering given the first interaction was so underwhelming.

Highly recommend, my son has been attending the setting for almost a year now and it was the best decision we made to put him at Children's Corner. The staff are kind, attentive and have great knowledge of children's development.
