Choosing the right nursery for your children is one of the most important decisions a parent can make, and I can honestly say we feel incredibly fortunate to have found Cornerhouse. From the moment you walk through the doors, there is a calm, welcoming and genuinely caring atmosphere. The facilities are nice, clean and thoughtfully designed, with spaces that clearly encourage curiosity, creativity and confidence. The details feel intentional, it’s not just safe, it’s inspiring. What truly sets this nursery apart, however, is the staff. The team are exceptional. They are warm, attentive and deeply invested in the children’s development and wellbeing. It’s obvious that they don’t simply see this as a job, they care deeply about the children as individuals. They know their personalities, their quirks, their strengths and the little things that make them feel secure. As parents, the greatest reassurance is seeing how happy and settled your children are at drop-off and how excited they are to share their day with you at pick-up. The communication is excellent, the feedback is thoughtful, and we always feel included in their progress and milestones. Most importantly, our children are thriving. Their confidence, social skills and independence have grown enormously, and that is a direct reflection of the nurturing environment created here. We couldn’t recommend Cornerhouse more highly. It is a place filled with kindness, professionalism and genuine care and we are truly grateful to be part of its community

We’ve absolutely loved our time at Corner House Day Nursery. It has been such a special part of our child’s early years and for us as parents. The staff truly feel like family. This nursery won’t be for everyone, and that’s actually one of the reasons we value it so much. If you’re looking for a setting that feels like a true home from home, where your children are deeply loved, known as individuals, and cared for as if they were their own, then this is the place. The team genuinely care. They invest their time, energy and heart into the children. There’s a strong emphasis on kindness, understanding different cultures, learning how to treat others, and building emotional confidence. The creative activities are wonderful; messy, imaginative, hands-on and engaging. It feels like how childhood should feel. If you’re looking for perfectly uniformed staff and toys that look untouched and showroom-ready at all times, this probably isn’t for you. It’s clear that instead of prioritising a picture-perfect aesthetic, they prioritise investing in their people and in meaningful activities for the children, and for us, that’s exactly what matters. We feel incredibly grateful for the care, warmth and memories created here.

Our son has been at Corner House since the age of 1 (6 months) and I cannot sing their praises enough. The nursery is always full of so much fun and laugher and the staff always so kind and caring, I have absolutely no qualms in leaving my baby with them (and he leaving me often running in without saying goodbye!) They run so many activities for the children, we are always updated with his new skills/ photographs of his day. He has come on leaps and bounds thanks to the attentiveness of the staff. The ladies in the toddler room are all very special, and so obviously love the children they work with. The nursery runs on an app and we are able to access this to see what has been going on in the day. Any questions, we message and they respond straight away. We have never faced any administrative issues or concerns with management. Yes there are sometimes scratches and marks but the toddlers are encouraged to play outside and often this can lead to accidents - as they do at home! We always receive an accident report, and the issue is always discussed at pick up. We have absolutely no concerns in that regard. I would highly recommend Corner House. I am currently pregnant with our second child, and put him on the list at 8 weeks gestation! High praise indeed!

We couldn’t be happier with Cornerhouse! Our son has been attending since November and he absolutely loves it. He’s so happy there, which means everything to us. All of the staff are amazing… they work incredibly hard and genuinely care about each child. We’ve seen such positive growth in our son’s development, and it’s clear how much thought the team puts into supporting all the children. We’re so grateful for the safe, fun and caring environment at Corner House.

I would highly recommend corner house to any parent looking for a kind and nurturing environment for their children. They have a home away from home feel which is lacking in many of the larger nurseries and I feel they really focus on the needs of each individual child. I feel so grateful that both my boys walk in happily each morning and it is so reassuring as a parent that they are surrounded by such caring staff. Both my boys have developed and progressed so much throughout their time at corner house and we have had such a positive experience over the last 4 years.
