About this day nursery

The Children's Respite Trust Centre is a childcare setting in Uckfield, offering respite care for families with children aged 3 to 18 years who have special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Open on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 9am to 3pm during term time, and extending to 5pm during the summer holidays, the centre creates a calm and settled environment.

Staff greet each child individually and provide continuous support and guidance, even when children are not at the setting. The highly skilled team uses communication methods such as Makaton and visual aids to ensure all children understand and can express their choices and needs.
