Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Staff work closely with parents and other professionals to support children who have special educational needs and/or disabilities. Targeted plans are in place to support children's individual needs, such as to develop their social skills.

Outdoor space

When children show an interest in leaves in the garden, staff encourage them to use leaves in different ways. Children develop their early writing skills when they use pens and paper to draw around the leaves and stand on leaves in a bucket to hear the crunching sound.

We relocated last year and chose this nursery for our little boy, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision. Our move took longer than expected, but May the Nursery Manager was incredibly understanding and kindly held our place until we were finally settled, something we truly appreciated during a stressful time. The staff are attentive, caring, and always willing to help. Our little boy absolutely loves going to nursery every morning. He knows all of his teachers and friends by name and genuinely looks forward to seeing them each day, which speaks volumes about the warm and nurturing environment they provide. Overall, this is an exceptional nursery, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new Nursery for their little one.

My daughter (almost 3) has been attending the nursery for about 5 months, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. The staff are warm, patient, and genuinely care about the children. The nursery is clean, colourful, and full of engaging activities. Since starting, we’ve noticed huge improvements in her confidence and communication skills, specially when she started her English was only on a basic level and this past few months her language skills have grown massively. She especially loves the outdoor play area and the freedom to choose what to play with. The settling-in process was handled gently and thoughtfully, and the team made sure she felt comfortable from day one. We feel completely confident leaving her there and would highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a safe, nurturing environment.

Both my children attend / attended the nursery. After experiencing all age groups I can honestly say it is a wonderful nursery. All the staff are so friendly, thoughtful and attentive to the children. I receive feedback daily, the staff have helped with all aspects from potty training to preparing a worried child for school. My eldest child still speaks fondly of his key worker and he left 5 months ago to go to school. My youngest child has just turned 2 and has been at the nursery since she was 8 months old. She speaks about the staff in her own way and gets excited to go to nursery this proves they enjoy their time there and feel comfortable going. Thank you for all your hard work.

Fantastic nursery with great outdoor space. We chose Clarence House for its location initially and as soon as we looked round we knew we’d made the right choice, the staff are lovely and it really feels like a home from home. My daughter loves her keyworker Nikki and from the moment she started I’ve felt reassured with regular updates and great communication from both her keyworker and May the manager.

My son started coming to this nursery when he was 17 months old. He is now 4 and will finish his preschool this year. The staff are fantastic and caring. May, who is the nursery Manager, had been helpful and responsive to any request I made. The location is also spot on as I travel to Grantham to work and I can say that I feel assured to leave my son whilst am working. I highly recommend this nursery in Grantham.
