Serendipitys Day Nursery, established in 1998 by Kelly Alls, operates five nurseries across various locations, including Grantham. Kelly's initial goal was to provide high-quality, affordable childcare in a nurturing home-like setting, a philosophy that continues to guide all Serendipitys nurseries over two decades later.
The Grantham branch, situated in a converted Edwardian Church on North Parade, dedicates separate rooms for babies (0-2 years), toddlers (2-3 years), and pre-schoolers (3-5 years), each designed to foster discovery and development. The nursery also features outdoor play areas, including a safety-surface area, a slide, a small sand-pit, and a planting and growing area.
Serendipitys emphasises tailored care for each unique child, with routines and activities designed to help them reach their full potential. All staff undergo a specialised training programme to ensure they embody the nursery's core values and passion.
The nursery accepts various childcare payment methods, including tax-free childcare and government funding initiatives, and is committed to providing a supportive environment where children feel secure and encouraged to explore.
Our ethos
At each Serendipitys Day Nursery we create a Home from home environment so that all the children feel safe and secure to make their own little discoveries and develop to their full potential.
What it's like
Children show positive relationships with staff, openly going to staff for cuddles and excitedly anticipating games. They develop physical skills using climbing equipment and copying action rhymes, showing good listening and attention. Children also learn about shapes, using scissors safely to cut them out, and receive praise for their achievements.
Fees are charged monthly in advance, payable on the first of each month. Charges apply for fifty-two weeks of the year, including bank holidays and any child absences. A deposit is required to secure a place, and one month's written notice is needed for cancellations or changes.

Serendipity’s staff are the nicest and most caring ones that one could ask for to look after your child. Ever so greatful to them!
