How they support every child

SEND provision

The manager uses additional funding effectively to meet children's individual needs. For example, staff offer children with special educational needs and/or disabilities one-to-one support in their play. Staff work in partnership with parents and other professionals to put targeted plans in place to help children to progress in their development.

Outdoor space

One-year-old children show great excitement when they are offered opportunities to play in the garden. They laugh, point to the garden and are keen to ride in toy cars. Three- and four-year-old children manage risks in their play when they climb on low-level trees. These experiences provide children with physically active play.

My daughter’s been to this nursery since she was 10 months - she’s now 3, & she loves it! The staff are amazing & always been so understanding and flexible with bookings. I love how the menu for the kids keeps changing & they get to try lots of different foods. They’re also so accommodating to your requests!

My child has been neglected in many ways through this nursery. Suspected additional needs however nursery did not do a paediatric referral after my son’s GP had expressed concerns. After 8 whole weeks the manager of this nursery did not tell myself or professionals they were not willing to do his referral. However, my child has clear additional needs. The school he now attends are having to do the referral due to unprofessionalism at this workplace. There has never been an allocated member of staff for children with SEN the whole 2 years my son attended. My child would not have his nappy changed and would be left in stool, because of no communication my child can not address his nappy needing to be changed. Staff are unprofessional walking out of meetings when addressed with these problems from myself and professionals. My other child now attends a different nursery and we have more progress in 6 weeks than we have had in 2 years at this nursery. There would be no communication regarding my son’s needs however would harass for payment every month. After all of this we as a family have not had an apology regarding the lack of support towards my child resulting in longer waits for a diagnosis. DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR CHILDREN WITH SUSPECTED ADDITIONAL NEEDS.

I feel very comfortable with the atmosphere, clean, large rooms with huge Windows, the children seem happy, 'Dawn' the manager, my daughter's key worker 'Natalie' and all the staff there are just great.
