Clifton-Upon-Teme Nursery Limited provides a warm and nurturing environment where children from birth to four years thrive in a setting that operates Monday to Friday, all year round, closing only for one week in August and another in December, with sessions from 7:30 am until 6 pm. Children are happy and eager to engage in the diverse experiences offered, demonstrating a strong sense of belonging and connection upon arrival, as they are warmly welcomed by peers and staff alike.

SEND provision

Staff are ably supported by the setting's special educational needs coordinator (SENCo) to swiftly identify when a child may need additional help. Staff work cooperatively with professionals, such as speech and language therapists, resulting in all children, including children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), developing detailed knowledge and skills across the seven areas of learning.

Outdoor space

Children benefit greatly from outdoor play. Staff ably support them to explore the natural environment, for example, young children excitedly hide 'bugs' around the icy garden for their friends to find. Children demonstrate an eagerness to spend time outdoors and confidently explain why they cannot use large equipment when it is slippery and dangerous.

Our son attended Clifton for 6 months last year and really enjoyed the quaint village feel. The staff there felt more like family than nursery nurses!
