The inspector reported that leaders have designed a curriculum that stretches and challenges children, and that children are valued as individuals.

Ofsted found that communication and language are supported throughout the nursery, with babies showing an early interest in reading while older children join in with songs. Children are physically active and use the outdoor space to run and climb. This area includes a sand-filled 'beach' where they can build sandcastles and dig for shells. Staff use evaluation to identify children's progress and have arrangements in place to support any who may be falling behind. Mathematics is also promoted across the setting.

SEND provision

Staff use evaluation to identify the progress children make and where they may be falling behind. They have a secure understanding of how children learn and the expected progress they make, using this knowledge effectively to ensure that effective arrangements are put in place to support children who may be struggling.

Outdoor space

Children are physically active. They use the outdoor space with enthusiasm as they run, climb and develop their large motor skills. Outside at the 'beach', children giggle with joy as they experience the feel of sand on their feet, building sandcastles and digging for shells.
