How they support every child

SEND provision

Staff use the nursery's sensory room and new outdoor cosy space to help children regulate and manage their emotions. This is particularly effective for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND).

Outdoor space

When children choose to play and explore outside and spend time getting their coats on themselves, staff then call them back inside to offer them snack. This interrupts children's self-led exploration, learning and focus.

Our daughter has been going to cuddles and cares for about 9 months now. We can tell she is enjoying her time there and she adores the staffs. We would definitely recommend this nursery if you are looking.

The staff at cuddles and care in Frome have been fantastic since our son started there in Oct 2023. Jackie has put so much work into ensuring he is comfortable and happy in the setting and he’s gone from getting very upset when we would drop him to being so excited to go in. Our son’s confidence has grown immeasurably since starting and he’s now happy and comfortable with all the staff and has made many friends. As parents to a nervous and cautious child, we’ll be forever grateful to the nursery for how they’ve helped him develop and grow.

Cuddles and Care in Ilminster have been absolutely fantastic. They are flexible, caring and offer such a wide range of great activities for my son to learn and grow that I would struggle to deliver on my own at home. They follow a good routine and the facilities inside and outside are not something you can easily find elsewhere. My son's development has come on greatly since attending the nursery when it first opened and they promote so many useful skills and great learning opportunities for him.

Thank you for everything you've done so far to help our kids settle in! Staff are so friendly and have worked hard to support my shy son as he made the move to Frome. They love the sensory room, the dress up and having the freedom to be outside (although they also seem to mention the food being yummy too).
