Cuddles Day Nursery has been an integral part of our family’s life for over 10 years across both the Canford and Parkstone nurseries, and I truly can’t speak highly enough about the care, love, and dedication shown by every single member of the team. Both of my girls have absolutely thrived there, from their very first settling-in days right through to holiday clubs as older children. It’s been more than a nursery; it’s been a second home. The staff are nothing short of exceptional. They go above and beyond every single day—not just to care for the children, but to nurture, guide, support, and inspire them. The genuine love and attention they give is something you simply can't put a price on (though, sadly, the government tries to and woefully undervalues this vital profession). It’s heartbreaking that such skilled and passionate early years professionals are often paid less than a local dog walker. They deserve so much more, yet they continue to show up with huge smiles, warm hearts, and endless patience. The nursery’s resources are fantastic, and the garden space is nothing short of amazing. At collection it’s such a joy to see children playing in such a well-thought-out, and safe environment. Whether it’s messy play, games, or just running free, the outdoor area has been a favourite for both of my girls. The holiday club has also been a real highlight. It’s clear how much effort the team puts into making every day fun, creative, and engaging, and it’s been wonderful to see how excited my children are to return, even during school breaks! The admin team and management are equally wonderful, always approachable, organised, and incredibly supportive, even when I fill in forms late or need an extra session! To all the staff at Cuddles: thank you! For over a decade, you’ve played a key role in shaping our daughters’ early years into something truly special. You’ve given them laughter, learning, friendship, and confidence, and for that, we’ll always be grateful.

Cuddles has been a fabulous experience for our daughter, she gets on well with all adults and other children. The nursery engages well with the children, running lots of activities our daughter loves. We would not hesitate to recommend Cuddles

I had an extremely disappointing experience with this nursery regarding how they handled my child’s potential allergy and the registration process. They were quick to take £623 from me before the registration was even formally completed, then refused to acknowledge that it was inappropriate to charge that amount when no service was ever provided. As soon as I raised concerns about a possible allergy after the interview, they brushed it off as a “food preference” just to avoid dealing with it seriously. Instead of supporting us properly, the manager pushed me take a picture to a random doctor found on google and advised giving antihistamines at home, without any symptoms but just for “safety” for the staff. After this conversation, I gave two weeks’ notice and withdrew for continuing the registration process, but still I was charged for the full month. The director refused to meet or even speak with us directly, hiding behind emails and policies — clearly uninterested once payment was made. The way their registration is set up feels like a trap: you’re required to sign policies and pay fees before you’ve even had a proper conversation or formal interview with the staff. Once they have your money, that’s it — no flexibility, no empathy, no accountability. Given that they are also closing part of the nursery, it feels like they’re desperate to secure funds however they can — even if that means ignoring serious allergy concerns and keeping money from families who never even started using the service. Parents, please be careful. Don’t sign or pay anything until you’re 100% sure. If you have concerns later, don’t expect understanding — only excuses and ways to trap you in.

Cuddles Parkstone is absolutely fantastic. All of the staff at Cuddles Parkstone are wonderful. I would highly recommend Cuddles. My Children have been very well looked after, and my Children are very happy to attend cuddles. The handovers are very good and detailed, the staff are so helpful and friendly. The environment is very clean, very safe, and there are always plenty of activities for the Children to do. I want to say a big thank you to Cuddles Parkstone for everything they have done for my Children.

My little man absolutely loves cuddles!!! We were looking at moving him to a different nursery as it’s more convenient to be nearer our older kids school but we decided to stick with cuddles. They have made it impossible to want a different nursery as they’re just so great! Private gardens for each classroom, an amazing staff that are such a joy to be around, AMAZING activities to beat the heat. My son complained about being home for half term and just couldn’t wait to go back 💕
