Talbot View PreSchool, located in Parkstone, Poole, Dorset, was established in 2007 as a childcare on non-domestic premises setting. The preschool takes great care in preparing children for their next steps, including the transition to school, through a well-planned curriculum.
The dedicated staff, all qualified to at least Level 3, provide a nurturing environment where children are encouraged to develop their interests, such as observing birds and tracking their numbers, which fosters creativity and mathematical skills. Children benefit from a key-person system that ensures staff have a deep understanding of each child's individual learning journey and work closely with parents to support their progress.
The preschool has an overall effectiveness rating of 'Good' from its latest inspection on March 21, 2024, maintaining the same positive rating from its previous inspection. Parents appreciate the "home-from-home" atmosphere and the support provided, especially for those whose children are learning English as an additional language.
The setting is open Monday to Friday during term time and offers free early years education for children aged two, three, and four.
