About this day nursery

Curious Learners Childcare in Swindon provides a warm, home-from-home environment for children aged 6 months to 4 years. Open from 7:45 am to 6:00 pm, it is ideally situated for working families.

The day nursery prides itself on an individual approach, ensuring each child's needs, interests, and development are prioritised. They employ consistent, caring staff, fostering strong bonds with familiar faces rather than using agency workers.

High-quality, engaging facilities are designed for learning and exploration, complemented by freshly prepared meals that support healthy habits. Strong parent communication is a cornerstone, keeping families informed and involved in their child's journey.

As an independent nursery, not part of a large chain, Curious Learners focuses on a dedicated team approach. With over two decades of experience in childcare and education, the founder, Magdalena Wowkotrub, holds a Master's degree in Early Childhood Studies.

The curriculum is play-based and delivered through weekly planning via the Famly app, ensuring parents are always connected. The day nursery aims to support children in reaching their full potential by nurturing both their learning and personal development within a safe, valued, and inclusive setting.

They emphasise strong relationships, curiosity through play, independence, resilience, and celebrating each child's uniqueness, preparing them confidently for their next educational steps.

Curious learners is such a wonderful nursery. My son was with a well known large chain nursery from 6 months old to 2.5 years old. He has additional needs and is non verbal, unfortunately we left that nursery because they were not supportive. We found Curious Learners childcare- an adorable, cosy and warm feeling setting where every single staff member is absolutely wonderful. My son goes in with a smile on his face and trusts the staff. He has been with this nursery for a short 3 months so far and already they have gone above and beyond to escalate the need to support my son and I am so grateful to them. Such friendly, caring people that you can tell have a true passion for children. If you are looking for a nursery with a true personal touch this is the one to choose
