Daisy Chain Montessori Nursery, situated in Reigate, is an independent day nursery and Forest School that has been serving the local community for over 25 years. Open daily from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, the nursery caters to children aged 12 months to 5 years.

The philosophy centers on creating a nurturing environment where each child feels happy, safe, loved, and stimulated, fostering development through diverse activities such as playing, building, singing, dancing, and painting. The nursery encourages outdoor play in its garden, utilized for playtime, water games, gardening, and vegetable planting.

As a Forest School, it further emphasizes outdoor learning. After lunch, a quiet period is provided, allowing younger children to nap in a serene setting.

The curriculum is designed to enhance social, emotional, literary, creative, language, and physical development, with activities structured to build confidence, independence, and enjoyment. Emma Bell, the founder and principal, brings over two decades of experience in early childhood education, and all staff members hold either Montessori training or a Level Three childcare qualification.

Parents are actively involved and regularly invited to participate in nursery events and performances, fostering a strong community atmosphere. The nursery also offers additional activities like football lessons and music sessions, and regularly welcomes community visitors such as the fire brigade and police, along with professionals who share their work with the children.
