Our ethos

In the preschool rooms we believe that children should start school healthy, happy, communicative, sociable, curious, active, independent, ready and equipped for the next stage of life and learning. Being prepared for school is not simply knowing about letters and numbers. It is about making sure that children are ready to make friends, to play, to have the freedom of speech and communicate their needs confidently.

My eldest son who is now 7 attended shapes from the age of 1 and my youngest son who is 3 now attends currently. I would like to highlight the amazing care and learning which has been given to both my children in the time they have been at Shapes Reigate. An example would be last year when my 2 year old returned home and was telling my wife and I all about the continents of America, Asia and Africa. We were astonished by his knowledge which had been imparted by the staff at Shapes. Since my eldest son attended we have moved house and its a good 30 minute drive to get my youngest to shapes but we would not have it any other way. Shapes is a business but one that puts the love and care of the children at the forefront of the business. I know you would expect this of any childcare provider but sadly this isn't always the way. I would also like to have it stated that the owner Sue is a hands on owner who is on site weekly and is extremely approachable. Sue always states that if your a customer of Shapes your part of the Shapes family and as the saying goes... "You can pick your friends but not your family" but if I could, id pick shapes every day of the week!
