Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

All children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), are well supported by staff and progress well in this inclusive nursery. Leaders work with other agencies and early years professionals to coordinate support for children with SEND, to ensure children receive a continuity of care and that their welfare needs are met.

Outdoor space

Children enjoy exploring the stimulating and well-resourced environments, both indoors and outdoors. Toddlers enjoy playing with water, pouring, emptying and transporting it around the garden. Pre-school children play imaginatively in mud kitchens and enjoy planting activities. Babies climb and cruise around outdoors and enjoy exploring sand. Staff set out garden areas in a stimulating way with activities that help promote exploration, physical skills and learning about nature.

Both our daughters attend Daisy Fays St Ives. I can honestly say it’s the best choice we made. Brilliant communication, lovely staff, always feel completely at ease leaving my baby and toddler. They have gone above and beyond since my little ones started in September. My eldest has always been very shy and sensitive so for her to walk in happy and wave goodbye to me at the door is the best feeling. Knowing she always enjoys her self and feels completely safe. Thank you so much to the whole team at daisy fays for making our experience so far a great one. I Highly recommend to anyone.

I visited a few childcare options and despite this one being the furthest away for us, it was a clear winner from the start. The staff have been amazing and my little girl absolutely loves it. She has learnt so much since starting and is always happy to get in the car for a ‘nursery day’. Definitely recommend.

My daughter has made so many friends during her time at Daisy Fays St ives. These relationships are nurtured by the staff and positive relationships between peers are taught and modelled allowing my daughter to learn respectful ways of treating others. She has learnt so much and constantly surprises us with new knowledge she has gained. We are proud that this was our daughters first experience of education with such a supportive and caring team.

The girls here really spent the time helping our babe settle in his first few months. He found it super tough leaving us. He now runs in and doesn’t look back. Super friendly, safety first approach. I wouldn’t have our baby anywhere else. We love it.
