The nursery is thoughtfully divided into three distinct rooms dedicated to Babies, Toddlers, and Pre-School children, each with secure direct access to its own outdoor play area, in addition to a shared main nursery garden. How they support every child
SEND provision
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) are very well supported. Staff work closely with parents and other professionals to ensure that they make good progress from their starting points. Staff use pictures and sign language to help them know what is happening next and to aid their understanding. Staff are instrumental in accessing further advice and support to ensure that children with SEND make good progress in their learning and development.
Outdoor space
Older children enjoy creating obstacle courses with blocks and planks outside, learning to balance. This successfully promotes children's gross motor skills. The inspector observed the quality of education being provided, indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact that this was having on children's learning.
