Those days when I had to deal with them there was no option to leave a review.. They are not supportive, very judgemental, patronising and they didnt look after my children. Glad my boy being only offered there 2h per day as he used to bite so they kick. Him out. Moved him to much nicer, professional nursery. He is 15 now and doing fantastic. Staff in this nursery gave me anxiety, tears, made me feel as a bad mum only because they couldn't bother to help. All the best to you all

I have had a horrific and incredibly discriminatory experience at Darnall Community Nursery. This may come as a surprise, as DCN are very good at showing how great they are, whilst hiding all the discrimination in the hope that parents who have faced it do not share or speak up. After much deliberation, I have chosen to share my experience, as DCN is a private nursery that is not bound by legislation that protects parents, unlike school nurseries. 1. Refusal to support SEND parents. Elongated transitions (5 months +) with no vision for an increase. Using a child-led approach to further discriminate against families in Darnall. 2. Telling continuous lies to support their false claims, even to the extent of attributing them to professionals. In each case, they have been proven to be lying. 3. Using their private status as a nursery to get away with otherwise illegal and discriminatory behaviours. Treating parents unfairly and using their authority to mistreat others. 4. Terminating my son's place without any valid cause or any notice period. I would highly NOT recommend this nursery to anyone and I do not say this lightly.

I have been trying to get through the lady who is working here right now as of todays date 13th August 2024 @ 11:08 was extremely rude she put the phone down and she has been ignoring all the calls. I will pay a visit personally and action should be taken you can't employ a person who does not even have basic telephone manners. Investigation needs to be done and calls should be recorded and heard because I believe she has done this many times as she was very comfortable being unprofessional this needs to be looked in to urgently

Very pricey and no food and nappies offered in their price . The nursery isn't bad but for the money you pay there are cheaper nurserys close by that provide food and nappies and more sensitive when it comes to paying the bills. 2 of my kids have been there and we tried to get the third child in. They were full at the time and fortunately we looked elsewhere and found a lovely nursery . High hazels nursery on main road. They were alot more flexible with us . Sometimes if daddy wanted a little more sleep they were happy to take my child later unlike this nursery who were upset when kids are brought in late. Also didn't like the way some staff were chasing payment "if we don't get paid by Monday then they can't come anymore" . When you've been with a nursery for 3 years and have always paid then you hear comments like that, you tend not to like the staff . That being said it was only one staff Katie that used to do that. Sometimes the staff would be upset that I didn't bring enough nappies or not enough food .

Though this Nursery has good report but I’m not happy about communication between nursery staff . Nursery staff(not giving name here ) gives wrong information first, then they deny they didn’t mean that . After complain never got respond back I dont feel good sending my little one to untrained staff . Very disappointed 👎
