SEND provision

The nursery supports children with special educational needs and/or disabilities and disadvantaged children well. Staff identify gaps in children's learning and development at an early stage and work closely with other professionals, such as speech therapists, to address them. They make good use of additional funding that children receive to support their learning through, for instance, enriching resources for their sensory development.

Outdoor space

Two-year-old children are encouraged to follow instructions from a picture recipe to mix their ingredients for 'pebble stew' in their mud kitchen.

My son started at this nursery in March, and the progress he has made during that time is truly amazing. He is very happy there. It's a wonderful place and the staff care so very much. There's a lovely little outdoor area and rooms for the different age groups, as well as a sensory room that my son particularly likes. I'm so happy to send my son here, I know for sure he's in safe hands. I cannot recommend this nursery enough.

Cannot rate this nursery high enough. The standard of care and nurture is excellent. Nothing is too much trouble and the phrase 'home from home' is so true at Maple Leaf - the staff are amazing, friendly and clearly care for the children as if they were their own. My child has made so much progress in developing skills and thrives here. My child comes home happy every time they visit even when grumpy at drop off after getting up early so I can get to work. Excellent value for money even without any funded hours.

My sons just started this nursery and absolutely loves it lovely and friendly staff very relaxing and wonderful nursery would definitely recommend. Sarah who runs the nursery is lovely too
