Dawn to Dusk Day Nursery, established in October 2023, is a purpose-built facility nestled within the picturesque Swanley Park. The nursery caters to children from three months old until they transition to school, offering a nurturing and stimulating environment.
It boasts specially designed rooms for various age groups, including a bespoke baby room, and a spacious garden for outdoor learning and play. The nursery operates from 7 am to 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday, and benefits from its convenient location within walking distance of Swanley Railway Station and local amenities.
Children regularly enjoy educational outings to local spots like the library and fire station, as well as engaging excursions to places such as farms and beaches, fostering a strong connection with the local community. The curriculum follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, emphasising a play-based approach to learning.
Activities are carefully planned based on each child's individual interests and needs, covering seven key areas of development. A dedicated Key Person supports each child's learning journey, and the nursery works closely with parents to ensure a safe, happy, and enriching experience for all children.
They also welcome children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), providing a supportive and inclusive environment with a trained SEND Lead.
Our ethos
The nursery follows the EYFS framework, employing a play-based learning approach that tailors activities to each child's interests and needs, supported by a Key Person and a commitment to inclusivity for children with SEN.

Inclusion & environment
The special educational needs and disabilities coordinator (SENDCo) works closely with parents, staff and external agencies to implement effective support for children. This helps children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) to gain valuable skills and knowledge. Staff use clear and simple language, which helps children with SEND to develop their range of vocabulary.
Children enjoy experiencing the world around them as they take part in a bug hunt in the park. Staff capture children's interests by showing them things such as snail shells and different insects.
Both my children have attended this nursery. My little one is leaving in September to go to big school and I know he will miss it. The nursery is constantly evolving to improve the activities and help with the development of the children. The staff is absolutely amazing. Their opening hours are a major plus as well since it provides flexibility for working parents. I would definitely recommend this nursery, my children have loved it and we have appreciated what the staff has done for them over the years.
Read on GoogleMy daughter has been going here for over 3 years, and has always absolutely loved it. The staff are amazing and so friendly and as a parent they have always been so helpful whenever I have needed them. When I had my second daughter, I didn't even hesitate in signing her up to start this September. The activities which they do with the children are brilliant, and my daughter has learnt so much. In my opinion they have also handled everything to do with the pandemic impeccably, which really put my mind at rest.
Read on GoogleMy son is happy to go to nursery everyday. He comes home happy and i have seen a great improvement with his learning. He is only 3 years old. The staff are friendly and always professional and ready to help. Would recomend this nursery to anyone.
