Grace's Day Nursery at Ruxley Manor, established in 2011, provides a nurturing environment for children in Sidcup. Originally Grandma Grace and Grandpa Cyril's family home, the nursery now operates across two buildings.

The Manor House accommodates children over two, featuring spacious outdoor areas, a soft playroom, and a sensory room.
The setting maintains a homely feel with its original character, including low ceilings and wooden beams. The nursery is committed to healthy eating, with a dedicated cook preparing fresh meals daily in collaboration with the Early Years Nutrition Partnership.
They are also recognised as a Forest School Provider and are Millie's Mark Accredited for paediatric first aid. Security is a priority, with keypad access and CCTV in each room.
The nursery operates for 51 weeks a year, closing only for bank holidays, a week at Christmas, and two training days, with extended hours from 7 am to 7 pm to support working parents.

Verbatim quotes recorded in the Ofsted inspection
parents comment that the setting and staff are incredible and truly go above and beyond, offering support with no judgement but with excellent knowledge and expertise.
Inclusion & environment
All staff support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities amazingly. Staff attend specific training and embed extremely effective strategies. For instance, staff teach children to use colour coded 'raindrops' to express their emotions and implement daily sensory circuits to support children to self-regulate, including calming breathing techniques.
Children have outstanding opportunities to challenge their physical skills. The managers and staff highlight that they would like to continue to strengthen the opportunities children have outdoors. The inspector viewed the indoor and outdoor learning environments and considered the positive impact of the environment on children's learning and engagement.
We have been so impressed with the whole team at Grace's from the first tour 18 months ago, until now (6 months into our son's time at Little Grace's). The settling in process was very well managed and reassuring, and we know he is so happy at nursery. Its obvious that he loves all the staff, and that the feeling is mutual too. Grateful for everything they do.
Read on GoogleOur eldest finished at graces nursery house this year. Couldn’t have been more happy with everything the team did for her whilst she was there getting her ready for school. Always helpful, great having updates via the app each day. Lots of social events throughout the year as well to involve parents. Thank you for everything you did for us.
Read on GoogleGrace's Day Nursery has been amazing with both my children, they are both thriving in nursery and cannot wait to go in each day. They provide home cooked meals every day, have a great garden and have an on-site forest school which my oldest has been really enjoying. We also get daily updates with photos and observations with what the children have been up to with their online app. The nursery provides great support to me as a parent and the staff are particularly knowledgeable when it comes to issues at home that I have asked for advice with e.g. potty training, terrible twos. The staff are always so happy and welcoming and you can tell they are really passionate about their jobs. Thank you Graces for doing such a fantastic job!
