Deerlands Day Nursery, established in 2001, provides a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 3 months to 5 years. Located in a unique rural setting in North Fambridge, the nursery boasts spacious grounds for children to play safely outdoors.

The facility is purpose-built, featuring indoor and outdoor play areas. A notable offering is their Forest School area, providing children with opportunities for nature-based learning and exploration.

Inclusion & environment
Appropriate support is provided so all children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), continually make good progress. The special educational needs coordinator spoke to the inspector about how they support children with SEND.
Children enjoy trips in the local community and forest school that is on site, as well as daily play outside in the nursery garden. The inspector observed the quality of teaching during activities indoors and outdoors and assessed the impact that this had on children's learning.
