About this day nursery

Dream Catchers Day Nurseries offers high-quality childcare for children from birth to five years old across three locations in Rotherham: Stag, Parkgate, and Treeton. The nurseries are committed to providing a family-oriented, "home from home" environment where children feel secure, warm, and stimulated.

Each child is placed in a room tailored to their age and developmental stage, with dedicated key persons fostering strong relationships with families to support individual growth. The curriculum emphasises language and communication, social and emotional skills, and stimulating activities that encourage curiosity and imagination.

The nurseries also offer various outings, including visits to local shops, parks, and even short trips on public transport. Freshly prepared, nutritious meals and snacks are provided on-site, catering to individual dietary needs.

The team tracks each child's progress and development using the Emag system, a Rotherham-based individual tracker and learning journey tool, with regular review meetings for parents and carers.

My daughter started her dreamcatchers journey at 9months old when I returned to work and any worries i had about leaving her soon disapeared. I had daily updates, photos and conversations with staff about her day and how she was developing during nursery time. The dreamcatchers team are fun, caring and responsive to each individual childs needs. My daughter has grown into a happy, confident and friendly child thanks to the care and support of the staff. She is now leaving to start primary school and will certainly miss everyone at dreamcatchers and its thanks to them that she is excited and confident to continue her journey in education. My son also attends the nursery and is coming home a happy smiley little man. I would 100% recommend dreamcatchers to anyone requiring childcare for their little ones :-)

My Daughter has been attending this nursery for almost 6 months now. She has a mild form of cerebral palsy and also development delays. The staff are so accommodating of her additional needs and she has 1:1 support. I have noticed a massive difference already in my Daughter and she absolutely loves going to nursery for those 2 days a week. I receive regular updates about what my Daughter has been doing that particular day and what she has eaten.

Both our daughters have attended Dream catchers and I can’t fault them one bit. They have provided the most caring and loving environment and our girls have returned with a smile on their face every day. The staff treat the children like a big family and they get exposed to lots of stimulating activities. We were sad to see our first-born leave for big school but they provided the best start for her, especially as she started as a scared little baby! The staff make you really feel at ease and keep you updated on what your little ones are getting up to. Thank you to all the staff at Dream catchers!

Our daughter has been attending this nursery for a year now, since she was 8 months old. Due to the pandemic I have never been able to go inside with her, but the staff have been fantastic. We get regular updates on her progress along with photos on the private nursery group. She has come on leaps and bounds with her speech and motor skills and is always over the moon to see all the staff. We would 100% recommend this nursery to anyone in the local area!

My son has been at dreamcatchers for over a year now! He absolutely loves going and has loads of fun! They keep you in the know sending and posting lots of pictures of what they have been up to. He loves to sing and dance at school and eats lots of yummy food. Highly recommend to anyone needing a nursery.
