We have been so impressed with Ducklings over the 1.5 years that our child has been attending. The staff are amazing - so kind and caring! And in both groups, our sons key person has been paired perfectly for him. The staff are also great at communicating and adapting to suit children’s individual needs. We chose Ducklings after visiting 5 other establishments - none of them felt as warm and happy as Ducklings did. We love the variety of activities, and skill-building that our child has access to such as woodwork, gardening, cooking etc. We love the homely vibe, and the fact that the children can access multiple rooms and the garden at various points in the day. Our son has come out of his shell and built lots of confidence since being at ducklings and we are very happy that he is there.
Read on GoogleBoth of my children have attended Ducklings and we honestly couldn’t be happier. My son was there for two years before starting school, and my daughter has been attending for nearly 12 months. We viewed several nurseries before choosing Ducklings and it was by far our favourite. From the moment we walked in, it felt so warm and welcoming, and that feeling has continued throughout our time there. We’ve been extremely pleased with every aspect of the setting. What really makes Ducklings special is the staff. Every member of the team is kind, caring, and genuinely invested in the children. They helped both of our children settle in so easily and always go above and beyond to make them feel safe, happy, and supported. You can truly see how much they care, and that makes such a difference as a parent. Both of our children absolutely love going to nursery, and we love hearing about their days and all the lovely things they’ve done. Knowing they are so well looked after gives us complete peace of mind. I would highly recommend Ducklings to anyone looking for a nurturing, supportive, and welcoming nursery.
Read on GoogleCan’t speak highly enough about Ducklings. Our son has been attending since he was 1.5 years and his development since starting nursery has been incredible. He has additional needs and this was the first nursery to listen to our concerns and address them, asking how they could help/ what he needed. That’s exactly what they have done and his progress has been substantial. They always go above and beyond, making adjustments to ensure he is included and able to access the learning. We know he is well cared for in a nurturing environment. A real family atmosphere where they look after the whole families needs.
Read on GoogleIf I could give more than 5 stars I would. Nothing is too much effort for staff here to ensure that my child is cared for; that he has fun and that he thrives. He comes home now chatting about his day; his nursery workers and his friends. From additional settling in mornings, to all the little updates throughout the day - the care that staff have for my child has been clear right from the start. Communication here is outstanding. There are so many varied activities to support your child's growth and development and there are many additional activities/days planned where they involve parents too. Whenever possible they get outside - which my child absolutely loves. My child not only absolutely adores the staff in his room but every single member of staff here has taken the time to get to know him and make him happy, and as a parent nothing makes me happier. I know he is in the very best hands when he is at nursery.
Read on GoogleThis nursery is outstanding. My daughter has been to two nurseries, this being the second one. The staff here care a lot about the children; they pay so much attention to your children that they will even notice when your child is just not quite right. In other nurseries, it's always, "They have had such a great day!" This always left me with the feeling that we're not paying enough attention, as not everyone has a great day every day, even children. Yet here that's not the case. They pay a lot of attention, and our daughter has excelled in her development since being at this Nursery; her language and numbers have come a long way. We are delighted with the choice we have made here.
