Dundry Pre-School, nestled in the village of Dundry, South Bristol, provides a nurturing and stimulating environment for children from two years old until they transition to primary school. Operating Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the pre-school is situated within Dundry Village Hall, boasting access to a large field with a playground and a private enclosed garden for outdoor activities.

The dedicated and highly qualified staff are committed to fostering strong relationships with both children and their families, ensuring each child's individual needs are met. The curriculum emphasises exploration, imagination, and independence through a variety of engaging and often messy play experiences.

Dundry Pre-school also maintains strong ties with the local community, including the village school, farm, and church, integrating these connections into their activities and events. They prioritise healthy development by encouraging outdoor play and providing healthy snack options.

The pre-school accepts various government funding options, making quality childcare accessible to more families.

What it's like

Staff meet children's emotional needs well, particularly following the COVID-19 pandemic. Children happily enter the pre-school, keen and ready to learn, quickly finding friends and playing nicely together. They develop good communication and language skills, confidently explaining concepts and using mathematical language.
