Magna Minors Day Nursery & Pre-School, located in the Chew Valley community, provides childcare for children from 3 months to 5 years of age. The nursery offers a welcoming, clean, warm, and well-ventilated environment with extensive access to outdoor play and garden areas.

Pricing & funding

Fees are structured around hourly, half-day (morning or afternoon), and full-day sessions, with rates banded by three age groups: under 2s, 2-3 year olds, and over 3s. Meals are charged separately depending on the session attended. Care is offered on either an all-year-round or term-time-only basis.

  • Two months' notice is required for any reduction or cancellation of booked sessions.

SEND provision

Leaders have a good overview to quickly identify any gaps in children's development and ensure that children receive the help they need to catch up with their peers. Staff use their observations well to identify what children can already do and what they need to focus on next, for example, helping children learning English as an additional language gain confidence in speaking.

Children have daily opportunities to be outdoors and enjoy exercise.
