Eagley School House Nurseries, located in Bolton, is committed to providing a leading pre-school education and care experience. They cater to children from as young as six weeks old, progressing through different age groups: Hatchlings (babies), Eaglets (around two years old), and Eagles (pre-schoolers).
The nursery also incorporates the Reggio Emilia approach in its Reggio Pre-School, focusing on aspects like Forest School, Eco Phonics, project-led learning, problem-solving, art, mindfulness, and yoga. A core philosophy, known as 'The Eagley Way,' emphasises creating a relaxed and welcoming environment for both children and families, fostering positive relationships throughout a child's formative years.
They highlight the importance of viewing the nurseries as an extension of home, providing comfortable surroundings and engaging with families regularly to support children's development. Eagley School House Nurseries has also developed its own 'Mini Minds Matter' and 'Eco-Phonics' curricula, with associated books available on Amazon, demonstrating their dedication to innovative educational practices and the well-being and mindfulness of children.
Our ethos
The most important aspect of “The Eagley Way” is about us embedding our ethos into each and every child’s journey. Over many years of practice we have found that to work hard on making families and children feel relaxed and welcome, from the start, is the only way to build positive relationships where everyone is seen as important in the child’s journey through their most formative years. We hope that you will find both nurseries as an extension of your home; a place where your child should be relaxed, as if they are at home.

Such an amazing nursery! Full of home from home, nurturing and innovative environments for all of the children who attend. Staff are well trained, knowledgable and cater for the needs of every child. Staff go above and beyond for each child, ensuring their nursery journey is the best it could possibly be. The nursery also provide exceptional care for children with additional needs, ensuring their needs are met on a daily basis which prepares them for the transition onto primary school. The nursery is also a mindfulness nursery which means mental health and wellbeing is a fundamental aspect of their curriculum. They have well-being days for families, raise money for local charities, give children experiences they wouldn’t always get the opportunity to join in with and so much more. Would definitely recommend - this nursery provides the most memorable and learning-rich early years of life for the children who attend ☺️
