How they support every child

SEND provision

A key strength of the setting is the targeted support given to children who are at risk of falling behind in their education. Leaders work hard to foster a strong inclusive attitude to all children, including children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Leaders ensure that children with SEND receive timely support from external agencies. Additional funding is used to train staff to meet children's needs effectively. Staff complete training on how to support children with autism.

Outdoor space

Children are capable and confident movers. Staff provide outside experiences for children to run around in the fresh air. They are committed to exposing children to experiences that they otherwise might not have. Children hunt for bugs in the garden and dig for worms in the soil.

My son recently graduated from East Horley Playgroup and it was the best decision I could have made sending him there. All of the staff are friendly, welcoming and so caring towards the children. Thanks to the support of the staff at East Horley my son has come a long way in all aspects and is now ready to start Reception. I would recommend East Horley Playgroup to anyone and everyone!

This is a fabulous childcare setting from 2 years old until school. My two boys who are now 6 and 4 have both been to east Horley playgroup and it is honestly fabulous. The play set ups are great, they are all so passionate and caring. Your little ones get a keyworker and they dedicate so much time and care to personalise the care for your child. Heartbroken my time as an east Horley parent has come to an end.

I find it hard to put into words the impact the staff at East Horley Playgroup have on the children. Every single teacher means so much to every single child, and every single child means so much to every single teacher. My son has just left here after 2 wonderful years. The staff have helped shape his first few years in ways that will never be forgotten. The ideas and dedication that are put into each and every day shine through in the kids happy little faces at pick up time. I will miss hearing all the weird and wonderful things that have been learnt each day, and hearing the very loud demonstration of the songs that have been sung! East Horley Playgroup - you are all fantastic and I cannot thank you all enough! ❤️❤️❤️

This playgroup is like no other; every staff member is so welcoming and treats them so lovingly like their own. Parents worry about handing over their children to 'strangers' but I did not have this worry from the moment we brought our daughter in. The way they learn through play is great and my daughter has come a long way since starting and will definitely miss you all. Because they are so exceptional I will be returning with my second daughter 💕
