SEND provision

The support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities and children who speak English as an additional language is a strength of the nursery. Staff quickly identify children who need additional support. They work effectively with other professionals to put targeted strategies in place, tailored to children's needs and preferences. As a result, children make good progress in their learning and development.

Outdoor space

Children have many opportunities to play and enjoy exploring outside. Older children's coordination, balance and physical skills are promoted well. For instance, they ride tricycles and balance bicycles around a racetrack. Younger children enjoy building sandcastles and make marks with dinosaurs in flour.

My 4 years old son finished his journey with this nursery after 2.8 years later. It was an amazing experience and journey. Leaving my son with them and came to work was so secure. They took care my baby so well. All the stuffs and key member are so friendly and experienced. lovely environment. I am really happy today that we choose this nursery for my son. We will really miss them ❤️❤️❤️😇😇😇

My little boy has been going to Toadhall for the past 2.5 years and he absolutely loves it. The staff are amazing, welcoming, friendly and the children just seem to love them. The food is amazing, yummy home cooked menu by the chef and my little one eats so well there (even though he doesn’t always at home!!) the nursery always put on lovely events like Christmas and Halloween which are lovely times to chat to the staff, see the setting and see the children in their setting (whilst raising money for charity too!) Kerry (assistant manager and SENCO) has been amazing throughout my little ones time there, I remember her showing me round when I was heavily pregnant and I just fell in love with the nursery and she happily answered all of my many questions! She has continually been extremely helpful and supportive in my sons speech delay and referral and setting up the sensory room at nursery too. When Kerry opens the door in the morning my little one gets so excited- it really is lovely to see. I will be so sad when he leaves you in summer for school. Thank you for all you have done for him and all of the other children. You’re all stars!

Toad Hall Nursery in Horley is amazing before you even step foot into the building. They preschool children have the whole of the ground floor to themselves with the opportunity to explore a variation of rooms. As you go up stairs to see the little ones the rooms are spacious and staff are so attentive to the children. The Management team are welcoming too! The garden is a great size and the little children get the own little space to play in. Definitely recommend Toad Hall to parents and Nursery Nurse who are looking for a change! Keep it going team Horley!

Great nursery, my daughter loves going there since September 2020, all staff very passionate, friendly and always helpful 👌 I love all activities and facilities nursery has to offer, lovley spacious rooms, gardens for each age group, sensory and art room. Also great location away from busy road but walking distance from the train station, freshly cooked meals and kitchen on site when children are having chance to explore healthy eating, I would recommend to everyone who is looking for childcare in Horley area!👍

My son has been going here for the past year after going to an awful nursery before.. Since being here he has come out of his shell, he is so much more social and the team supported him potty training before he turned 2!! Great team and a happy little boy = Happy mum!
