About this day nursery

Lets Explore Day Nursery in Horley offers a nurturing and stimulating environment where children from 4 months old can thrive. The nursery is designed with engaging themed classrooms for different age groups: Sea Explorers, Jungle Adventurers, and Space Cadets, featuring high-quality toys, equipment, and vibrant décor to promote development.

The dedicated team of qualified and experienced practitioners, led by individuals with over 15 years of experience in "outstanding" Ofsted nurseries, prioritises building strong relationships with each child and their family, ensuring a smooth transition into nursery life. Following the Early Years Foundation Stage and Ofsted guidelines, staff create fun and engaging activities that foster language, physical, intellectual, emotional, and social skills.

Children benefit from outdoor play equipment, access to the Lets Explore soft play area, and healthy, nutritious meals prepared by Zebedees, catering to all dietary needs. The nursery also maintains excellent communication with parents through regular updates and progress reports via the Famly app.

Lets Explore is committed to inclusivity, working with outside agencies and SEN charities to support children with learning difficulties and disabilities.

At Lets Explore, our qualified and experienced practitioners provide a warm and homely environment for your child. We ensure each child feels valued, safe, happy and healthy, allowing them to relax and thrive in our secure and inclusive nursery setting. We believe that children learn and grow best when they feel comfortable and confident in their environment. Therefore, we recognise the importance of building a strong relationship with your child, recording and communicating their progress whilst supporting their individual needs, to help them settle into nursery life. Our creative and highly skilled practitioners devise fun and engaging activities to nurture your child's growth, including their language and physical, intellectual, emotional, and social skills, in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage and Ofsted guidelines. By stimulating their imagination and encouraging their initiative, your child can freely explore and realise their full potential in our supportive setting.

Pricing & funding

Fees are charged for full-time, part-time, or shorter school-day sessions over 51 weeks a year. Funded places are subject to a daily supplement fee to cover meals, snacks, and extracurricular activities. Annual fee reviews are calculated in December and implemented in February with one month's notice.

How they support every child

SEND provision

The manager and her team provide strong support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities. Staff identify effectively any children who will benefit from additional support and provide targeted interventions to help close any gaps in their learning. They work closely with parents and other professionals to adapt their approach, ensuring they understand each child's unique needs.

Outdoor space

Children benefit from fresh air and exercise. They have access to a large outdoor space, where they have opportunities to explore and develop their physical skills. However, staff do not consistently plan activities for babies to be physically active indoors.
