Parents say that they fully appreciate that the staff team work extremely hard to provide their children with an enjoyable and valuable experience.
Inclusion & environment
Staff use guidance and assessment tools to identify areas of focus for individual children. They are aware and prepared to use this information to make referrals to other professionals if required. This targeted support is prioritised so that children, including those children with special educational needs and or disability, can get the early and ongoing support they need.
Children enjoy play in the well-resourced outdoor play areas. They use age-appropriate climbing and balancing equipment confidently and safely. On outings to the forest area, staff teach children to identify and manage risks as they play.
My daughter has been attending here for the past two months and I have been blown away by how incredible this nursery is. The educators are so caring and professional, providing regular updates on my daughter's developments and suggesting valuable changes to her routine as and when it is needed. They have a great mix of structured activities and free play throughout the day, plus forest school, which my daughter loves. The menu is always fantastic (I wish I could eat here!) and my daughter seems to eat well there, despite being picky at home. When I pick her up, she always tells me she had a great day and I can already see she is learning and developing so much from being there. I cannot recommend this place enough!
Read on GoogleI had tried 2 other nurseries before finally hearing about East Wick Kids. My 2 girls loved it immediately and have been really happy ever since! Dovi and Vilius are truly passionate about what they do and that transpires into the care and attention they give to every aspect of taking care of our little ones. From the staff they hire to the healthy meals they serve, we can really trust the girls are in good hands. Both Mia and Stella cherish their time at EWK and will really miss it.
Read on GoogleI have sent my children to four different nurseries and this is by far the best. The facilities are fantastic, great outdoor space with a sandpit, trampoline and various bikes and scooters. The only nursery I know that has cots for small babies. The staff look after the space, it is always clean and tidy. They also offer a range addition enrichment, Spanish lessons, dance, drama and forest school. They have special theme days like Polar bear day. My daughter comes home talking about planets in the solar system. They feedback is detailed, they provide an overview of the daily activities with photos. There are regular observations and meetings about progress. The food is of high quality and introduces the children to a range of healthy food. They have family events at the weekend that means parents can attend and don't have to leave work for mother's day and father's day celebrations. This nursery provides care and opportunities for your child to flourish. Thank you Eastwick!
Read on GoogleAs Muslim parents, our experience with East Wick Kids has been absolutely incredible! It’s so reassuring to see how committed they are to meeting our family's needs, especially when it comes to food (Halal & pork-free) and cultural celebrations. Our son was one of the first to attend EWK when it opened, and being the only brown/Muslim child at the time made it even more significant that Dovi prioritised respecting and incorporating our cultural beliefs from the very beginning. It’s crucial for our son to feel included and valued, and EWK excels at fostering that sense of community. Dovi and Vil have genuinely been like second parents to him, and we are endlessly grateful for their support! It’s such a blessing to have people who care so deeply and contribute to our child's happiness and development. Seeing our child so happy and thriving there brings us immense comfort. Thank you a million, team EWK!
Read on GoogleI have nothing but praise for East Wick Kids (EWK). As first-time parents, we were especially cautious about where our one-year-old would go to nursery. We visited over a dozen nurseries, both nearby and further afield, before finding EWK. The moment we met Vil and Dovi, our instincts told us this was the place, even if it meant choosing a nursery slightly further from home. It felt like the right kind of “home” for our child. Beyond the exceptional care and fun they provide, as Muslim parents, food was a critical consideration for us. The EWK team took the time to walk us through the menu in detail — from halal options to meat-free alternatives, and we were reassured by their commitment to maintaining a pork-free environment. They even use meat-free ham to ensure no child feels left out, which spoke volumes to us. This isn’t just a nursery; it’s a place where diversity, equality, and inclusion are truly lived values. From Ramadan and Eid celebrations to other religious and cultural festivities, our child has thrived in a space that embraces everyone. Over the past two years, he’s moved through Toddler 1, Toddler 2, and Preschool, and not once has the quality of care wavered. In fact, most days he doesn’t want to leave! That's a testament to how much he loves it there. Reading through other parent reviews, it’s clear that we’re not alone in how positively we feel. For those who have raised concerns about how EWK accommodates Muslim children or halal food — had they taken the time to ask or observe, they’d quickly realise how thoughtful and inclusive the approach truly is and how incorrect their reviews actually are. East Wick Kids is more than just a nursery for us, it’s an extension of our home and our values. Thank you to the entire team — from the teachers to the management and the chef, for making parenting not only easier but such a joy! A true family focused nursery, not to be mixed with the money making converyor belt nurseries that are often found in our neighbourhoods.
