Eastwood Community Playgroup Association, founded in 1980, operates as a registered charity with a long-standing commitment to serving local families across three distinct settings in Eastwood. The organisation prides itself on providing a secure, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment where each child is supported to achieve their full potential through high-quality teaching and care.

They emphasise building strong relationships with both children and their families, acknowledging each child as a unique individual and tailoring experiences to meet specific needs. The nursery utilises an online platform called Famly to keep parents and carers engaged in their child's developmental journey.

Play is central to their approach, offering diverse activities that encourage progress across all areas of learning. The nursery also focuses on early identification of language and communication concerns using the Verbo screening process and maintains strong connections with the Early Help team at Southend-on-Sea City Council to ensure effective support for children with special educational needs.

Children thoroughly enjoy their time at the warm and inviting pre-school. They are highly enthusiastic learners, looking forward to activities with great enthusiasm and actively engaging in learning, both indoors and outdoors.
