How they support every child

SEND provision

Staff know their key children well, including those who have special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Children with SEND are supported well, with other professionals invited into the nursery to meet their needs. Targeted support plans are regularly reviewed to identify how staff can support children's development.

Outdoor space

When staff take children into woodland, they ask children to remember rules that help to promote their own safety and protect the environment. The inspectors observed the quality of education during activities, indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact this has on children's learning.

I’m so pleased we found Edwalton. My oldest finished in pre-school today and I can’t fault any part of his nursery journey. He’s had a fantastic experience, staff have been so supportive and nurturing and he’s been well prepared to begin his next chapter at school.

Both my children have attended this nursery and my youngest is one . I wouldn’t leave them anywhere else , the staff are honest , kind , genuinely care about my baby and this makes leaving for work so much easier . They listen to me and feedback all the time ! Thank you

Absolutely loved the nursery for my daughter. It just made more sense for us to take her out to the pre school so it was one drop off and one pick up for both the kids. If it wasn’t for that she would have stayed! Everything about it was fab, lovely staff!! everyone is so kind and friendly and I’d always recommend it to anyone who lives in the area
