Cherubs Nurseries, founded in 1993 by Susan Mills, emerged from a personal quest to find suitable childcare. This led her to establish her own nursery, which has since grown into a network of childcare facilities across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.
The nursery group is dedicated to providing high-quality early education, focusing on making it accessible and affordable for families. They offer various government-funded schemes, assisting parents in navigating the options to reduce childcare costs.
Cherubs Nurseries emphasises supporting children’s development and offering flexibility to parents, ensuring a rich start to every child’s life. The organisation is committed to guiding families through the process of understanding eligibility and accessing funded hours, simplifying the journey for parents.

Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities benefit from targeted support from other professionals, staff and parents to meet their individual needs.
Children of all ages thoroughly enjoy playing in the stimulating and well-designed garden. The manager is aware that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, some children have had limited experiences of physical exercise. Because of this, improvements have been made to the garden, such as introducing larger apparatus and climbing equipment.
Cherubs has looked after all 3 of my children over the years and have been absolutely amazing. Recently they have been going on more trips on buses and trams to places in Nottingham as well as doing sports each week and forest school. They have recently began hosting baby sensory classes that helped my daughter settle in so quickly and host monthly stay and plays for us to come to so we can see what our daughter is learning. The team are so caring and thoughtful going out of there way to make us feel welcome at nursery.
Read on GoogleGreat little nursery. Friendly staff. Fleixible hours. Nice outdoor area. Eco-conscious. Good facilities and lovely food. Use an app to see activity at end of day. Daughters loves it.
Read on GoogleManagement are a shambles, and do not know what they are doing. We have the 30 hours per week funding from the government and Management kept on demanding more money for fees that have already been paid for under the 30 hours supplied. They were threatening towards us and told us we had to go elsewhere because we did not agree with their demands. Avoid this nursery at all costs!
Read on GoogleReally bad nursery, do not send your child here! The feedback is just from staff trying to get thier rating up from other bad reviews. They charge fees that they aren't allowed to and hide the fact, very long story but ask them about it. terrible management and director that doesn't follow any procedures! Reported to Ofsted and I'm taking them to court!
Read on GoogleBoth of our children go / went to Cherubs and the team are great! Very caring and considerate.
