Fakenham Children's Daycare Centre, established over 25 years ago, has evolved from a small team of three to a prominent centre serving over 100 local families with a dedicated staff of more than 20 early years educators, a chef, and a cleaner. The centre, commended by Ofsted in 2018 for its commitment to excellence, focuses on providing a nurturing and secure environment where children are encouraged to explore, make choices, and learn from their experiences.
This approach fosters self-worth and confidence from an early age through fully inclusive activities. The centre also actively engages in fundraising to enhance its facilities, particularly outdoor play equipment, and welcomes community involvement in these projects.
They offer a range of services including Early Years care and education, After School and Holiday Clubs for children up to 7 years old, and respite care, all designed to meet individual needs. The management team, including the Centre Manager and Deputy Manager, are actively involved in safeguarding and ensuring high-quality care.
Our ethos
Our vision is to create a loving and secure environment, where making choices, mistakes and trying things out are valued and celebrated. Children interact in a programme of fully inclusive activities, developing an awareness of self worth and confidence that will stay with them for life.
