Fenchurch Day Nursery in Hull provides care for children from one to four years old. It is open from 7.30am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, all year round, closing for public holidays and one week at Christmas. The day nursery accepts government funding for eligible two, three, and four-year-olds. Ofsted inspected the setting in February 2022, judging it to be Good.

The inspector reported that children are eager to attend and settle quickly with caring staff who know them well. Staff are good role models, which helps children to feel safe and secure and to show excellent manners. Children are making good progress in their learning, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities. The report noted that parents commented on the support staff provide. To develop physical skills, children participate in daily Latin-inspired dance fitness sessions, and staff use opportunities to develop communication and language skills.

Outdoor space

Children have lots of fun while developing their physical skills when they take part in a daily Latin-inspired dance fitness session. They copy the movements of the staff with enthusiasm.
