About this day nursery

The nursery received a Good rating in its latest Ofsted inspection on 06/06/2024. Children display independence in their morning routines and actively engage in activities.

The curriculum is designed to build on children's existing knowledge and skills. Staff support children in developing self-care skills, such as serving their own food and pouring drinks.

For EAL children, staff use singing, rhyming, short sentences, and repetition to introduce new words, alongside visual timetables and flashcards.

The nursery also promotes healthy and active lifestyles, with regular physical exercise and outdoor play. In the playground, children use an obstacle course to practise balance and coordination, and learn about safety by responding to red and green flags.

Kingston Nursery focuses on developing children's communication and language skills, with staff enthusiastically praising children for correct pronunciations. Partnership with parents is effective, with regular updates on daily routines, activities, and developmental progress, and information translated when necessary to ensure parental involvement.

I am so happy, I enrolled my Baby here. Since joining, I’ve seen a drastic improvement in her development, she was only babbling occasionally but now she’s talking so much more, climbing with confidence, and exploring much more. The staff there (All of them) are incredibly supportive and attentive, creating a safe, loving, and stimulating environment where children can really thrive. I can see how much effort they put into helping each child grow at their own pace. It gives me such peace of mind knowing she’s in the best hands, learning and blossoming every day. I Highly recommend and I really wished they had branches all over the UK!

A second home for our little one – we couldn’t have asked for more! Our son started here in February at 3½ years old, having never been in a nursery before. Of course, those first few days were filled with tears, but the team worked wonders. Within a week, he was bouncing out of bed asking, “Is it nursery day?” That alone told us everything. The staff have an almost magical ability to understand what each child needs to feel safe and confident away from Mom and Dad. They turned his anxiety into excitement. Watching him grow has been incredible. At home, we speak Bengali, but he now speaks full English sentences. More importantly, he’s learned kindness, sharing, and curiosity—life skills that no textbook can teach. The sweetest (and a bit heartbreaking) proof of how much he loves it? Every pick-up ends with, “Can I stay here forever?” If only we could bottle this place and take it to big school! Thank you to every single member of the team for giving our boy not just a great start to learning, but a second family. We’ll forever be grateful.

My daughter has been going to Kingston from the age of 2. We have never had any problems from there. The staff are very friendly and helpful, always there whenever I have any questions or concerns. Very impressed with the dedication and positive approach by the all the staff there. The communication from the staff is always spot on, keeping me updated about my daughter’s growth. The nursery is always very clean and well maintained. I am happy we chose Kingston nursery as our chosen nursery for our daughter.
