Inclusion & environment
Staff skilfully adapt teaching, routines and the environment so that children with special educational needs and/or disabilities and disadvantaged children access the curriculum fully and participate confidently alongside their peers. Leaders monitor children's progress closely and review the impact of support regularly, adjusting provision to ensure children make excellent progress. Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities or who face barriers to their learning receive the targeted support that they need to help them to achieve.
The recent introduction of the outdoor classroom was developed to provide more specific learning experiences as leaders recognise that some children need more focused learning opportunities.
An outstanding nursery as Ofsted repeatedly state. My son was lucky enough to get a space here from 7 months until he started school and his headteacher immediately recognised that he must be a ‘first steps child’ because of his intelligence and confidence. He adored every day at this nursery and still now at 7 talks about it. Cannot recommend it highly enough
Read on GoogleFirst Steps Nursery and all its staff are amazing. Both my children have attended since 7 minths old and the social and academic skills they have learnt are fantastic and made the transition to school an easy and joyful experience.
