My son has being going to First Steps for just over a year and all the staff were very warm and welcoming, which made me feel at ease straight away. My son settled very quickly and made lots of new friendships, he came home with amazing stories about his day. They have supported my son through his time here and he has grown in confidence so much! I would highly recommend First Steps they are amazing, thanks again :-)

I couldn’t be happier with my experience at First Steps Kindergarten! From day one, the staff have been absolutely incredible—so attentive, caring, and genuinely loving. It’s been such a comfort knowing my son is in such capable and kind hands. He has absolutely thrived here—always excited to go in, and he especially loves crafts, writing, and playing. The team are so dedicated to teaching the children and creating a safe, nurturing environment. From learning to write his name to exploring the lifecycle of butterflies and ducks, every experience has been thoughtful and enriching. I even still have the sunflower he planted! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming—it truly feels like a little family. My son has made some lovely friendships that I believe will last for years to come. I’m so grateful for the positive impact First Steps has had on his early years. Thank you all so much!

My daughter has been at First Steps for nearly four years, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better start to her early years. The team is incredibly caring, nurturing, and dedicated. The communication has always been excellent, and it’s been so reassuring to know she was in such good hands every day. From creative activities to outdoor play and learning through fun, the staff have put so much heart into everything they do. A special thank you to Corrie, who made such a lasting impression on my daughter , she absolutely adored her time with you. We’ll miss everyone and will always be grateful for the love and care. We couldn’t recommend First Steps more highly!

My two children absolutely love First steps, they have been there since they were 8 months and 2 attending a couple of days and now 2 and 4 attending full time Monday to Friday. Every room they’ve been in and moved up into has been brillliant. They have lots of outside time and lots of structured activities as well as free play too, they come home with so many things they’ve made that they’re so proud of! Too many to name but all staff have been amazing, I’ve seen mostly the same faces the whole time as turnover is so low and my children have adored everybody, they’ve made me feel so comfortable and confident leaving them knowing they’re so well looked after, there’s a real family feel. Ian, Luke and Tina have been brilliant, so organised in their management of everything and so helpful with flexibility where I’ve needed. So glad my kids have spent their first years here!

My child feels safe at First Steps, he’s very happy there. There is a family feel in that all staff and children will know each others name (even if they aren’t working in the same room). Most staff members have worked at First Steps for many years, they are knowledgeable, I often seek their advice, and feel confident my child is well looked after. First Steps have really helped set my son up for school this past year too- thank you!
