Inclusion & environment
Key persons observe children, noting achievements and outlining any gaps in learning. They act promptly if children are behind expected development, liaising with parents and seeking advice from outside professionals to outline suitable support and get children the help they need.
Older babies and toddlers learn the names of ice creams as they play imaginatively in the garden. Babies wear suitable waterproof clothing so they are comfortable and dry as they explore the garden on a wet day. Older children enjoy the physical opportunities in the gardens, building physical strength and coordination.
Our son was moved here after we moved him from his previous nursery. The staff couldn't have been more lovely and our son settled almost instantly, quickly showing developments in both his speech and physical confidence. Very highly recommended
Read on GoogleExcellent nursery, lovely supportive staff, and our daughter loves it. The overall rating on here doesn't reflect the reality as any parent I've ever talked to that had/has a child here thinks its great
Read on GoogleMy two children attend the nursery and my first has done since he was 9 months old. The nursery is excellent and a lovely nurturing environment. The staff are brilliant and go above and beyond. My children are very happy there and I would highly recommend.
Read on GoogleThis nursery is absolutely wonderful. We would recommend it to any parent. Our daughter has been going weekly since just 6 months of age. She is now 4 and she still absolutely adores it there, as do we as parents. The staff are amazing, professional, attentive and loving. The teaching methods are, in our opinion, beyond repute. The recent offsted nonsense was the result of a nasty and embittered former member of staff as we understand it. And the fact that in 31 years Fledglings has always acheived good and outstanding reports says all you need to know. It is a wonderful safe place and I would never ever place my daughter anywhere less.
