Four Oaks, a childcare setting established in 2015, provides a nurturing and secure environment for children aged 2 to 3 years. 30 pm Monday to Thursday, and 8 am to 5 pm on Friday.
With an overall Ofsted rating of 'Good', the dedicated management team has crafted an engaging and ambitious curriculum designed to meet the diverse developmental needs of every child, fostering their curiosity and love for learning. Staff at Four Oaks are committed to removing barriers to learning, particularly for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND).
They provide rapid and targeted support, working closely with parents, carers, and external professionals to ensure all children thrive and make progress. The curriculum includes opportunities for children to learn about their local community, with visits from local heroes like firefighters and the police.
Books are consistently available, promoting a love for reading, and staff actively support this through storytelling and providing reading packs for families. This approach helps children quickly settle and feel 'at home', developing essential skills for their next stage of learning.
