Fun In The Forest

About this day nursery

Fun In The Forest offers outdoor nature-based school holiday camps situated in Coldfall Woods, North London, specifically in Muswell Hill. These camps are designed for children aged 5 to 11 years, aiming to foster a reconnection with nature through engaging and stimulating outdoor activities.

Led by an experienced Forest School leader and primary school teacher, the programme encourages children to rediscover play using natural resources. Activities range from constructing fortresses, dens, and rope swings to creating stick puppet theatres, nature arts and crafts, foraging, and whittling with real tools.

The emphasis is on imaginative, child-led play within a woodland setting, promoting wellbeing and a sense of adventure away from screens. The camps strive to create happy childhood memories by providing personal and inclusive experiences where each child's happiness is central to the practice.

Fun In The Forest has been operating since 2012, contributing to positive childhood experiences for North London families.
