Verbatim quotes recorded in the Ofsted inspection
"Parents say their children are happy and they receive regular communication on their children's progress."
Inclusion & environment
All children make good progress, including those who speak English as an additional language and children with special educational needs and/or disabilities. The management team make effective use of external agencies to ensure their highly targeted plans support the needs of all children in their care.
There is a strong focus on supporting children's physical development. For example, children visit parks, farms and gardens and there is a specialist sports coach who visits weekly.
My two boys have been at Galaxy Explorers Nursery for two years and they enjoyed every day they spent there. The entire team are so professional and caring and their communications were first class. We moved out of the area which is why we had to leave, and it's going to be very difficult to find a nursery to match Galaxy. Thank you so much to you all for your kindness to my boys and the great care you took of them.
Read on GoogleI’m a photographer and recently spent the day at Galaxy Explorers. I see a lot of nurseries in action and I was particularly impressed with the staff, the nursery itself and how happy the kids are! The older kids are all so confident which I’m sure is a lot to do with the nurturing they have received here. The staff are so caring and professional, they have a great schedule with the kids which ensures they get outside a lot and there was so many activities going on! The parents I met all said what a great experience their children have going there!
Read on GoogleWe're so happy we decided to send our son to Galaxy Explorers (he's currently 2 and has been attending for a year). He's happy to go everyday and babbles away talking about his carers and friends when he's at home. They provide interactive activites (messy play, etc.) most days, alongside all the age appropriate toys, books etc. that he has constant access to. As well as getting outside for walks everyday. The staff are all lovely, and there isn't high turnover (i.e. he has built meaningful relationships with the carers in his room). They are very good at communicating practicalities such as: number of nappies, food eaten, etc. everyday, as well as updating us on what he's been up to, his general mood, what he enjoyed etc. and his overall development.
Read on GoogleFantastic nursery. Definitely the best managed of all the ones we've seen. The staff are lovely and remember everyone's names. The food is good and healthy all the way through from nursery. It's clean and well run, and they take the kids out to the local park and church garden.
Read on GoogleWe've been so happy with GE. Great setting and fantastic team. Our little boy loves going.
